Khoiyachhora waterfall emerges as ideal one-day adventure destination

The serene and scenic Khoiyachhora Waterfall in Mirsarai, Chattogram, is fast becoming a favorite one-day travel destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers across the country.

Located near the Borotakia Bazaar, this multi-tiered waterfall—often dubbed the "Queen of Waterfalls" in Bangladesh—offers a perfect blend of thrill and tranquility. With its nine cascading steps, lush green surroundings, and rocky, zigzag trails, Khoiyachhora promises visitors a memorable escape from urban life.

Visitors typically begin their journey in the early hours, arriving in Feni or Mirsarai before heading to the waterfall‍‍`s base via CNG-run auto-rickshaws. From there, the adventure begins—trekking through slippery stones, bamboo thickets, knee-deep streams, and narrow jungle trails. The hike to the top, though physically demanding, is considered highly rewarding, with each step revealing a fresh perspective of natural beauty.

Travelers are advised to carry lightweight bags, bamboo sticks for support (locally available for around Tk 20), and gripped footwear for the slippery ascent. Food orders must be placed in advance at local roadside shops, which also offer basic amenities like washrooms and storage services.
