An Israeli drone strike wounded four Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday. Witnesses said the attack targeted someone passing a cafe in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood. The strike severed one victim’s limb and left them in critical condition.
Earlier, the Israeli army carried out extensive demolitions and detonations in eastern Gaza City. Loud explosions echoed across the coastal territory during these operations.
In the south, Israeli warships opened fire more than 40 times along the Rafah coast. The naval bombardment continued intermittently for roughly two hours.
The shelling coincided with heavy gunfire from military vehicles and helicopters in the same sector. Witnesses confirmed that no casualties resulted from the firing in Rafah.
Further north in Khan Younis, military vehicle activity increased. Troops stationed in the area fired directly toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians.
These actions took place during ongoing violations of a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
Data from Gaza’s Health Ministry shows that Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,505 Palestinians. Another 5,332 people have sustained injuries from these breaches as of Thursday.
The wider military offensive, which began in October 2023 with United States backing, has claimed the lives of more than 74,000 Palestinians. The ministry reports that over 175,000 others have been wounded since the campaign started.
The ongoing campaign has also destroyed 90 percent of Gaza’s overall infrastructure.
