Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized that national unity remains the nation`s greatest strength in facing crises and external threats. During a meeting with the head of the IRIB state broadcasting organization, he clarified the hierarchical nature of Iran`s governance, stating that no major state decisions are taken without the explicit approval of the Supreme Leader.National cohesion is prioritized as the primary pillar of state stability.
President Pezeshkian noted that the stability of the country during these sensitive times is the result of cooperation between the public and various levels of the state apparatus. He explained that he intentionally avoids public statements that might create divisions or appear contrary to the views held by the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. For Pezeshkian, maintaining domestic peace and social cohesion is a more pressing concern than military posture or missile development.
He asserted that all executive decisions are made within the framework of the Supreme National Security Council. Any step taken by the government is contingent upon the approval of the Supreme Leader, ensuring a unified approach to governance. Pezeshkian urged all political factions and institutions to maintain a unified voice on the international stage to represent the Islamic Republic’s interests effectively.
The President directed state media to focus on promoting national unity and integrity. He expressed confidence that as long as every part of the state operates under the guidance of the Supreme Leader and upholds national unity, the country’s adversaries will fail to achieve their objectives.
