Hull City winger Sorba Thomas escaped unharmed following a severe road traffic collision near his team`s training facilities on Friday morning, according to reports from Reuters and Al Jazeera. The Premier League club confirmed the incident in an official statement, noting that the 27-year-old emerged from the crash completely unscathed. The accident occurred in the village of Cottingham within the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Club officials moved quickly to address supporter concerns regarding the player`s safety.
Photographs distributed across social media platforms showed the player`s vehicle resting entirely on its roof along a narrow roadway, with shattered glass visible on the pavement. The club stated that they were aware of the viral images and reassured fans that Thomas did not sustain any physical injuries during the impact.
The Wales international completed his transfer to newly promoted Hull City from Championship side Stoke City on deadline day earlier this month.
