Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Kill Eight More Palestinians

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have killed at least eight more Palestinians during fresh military operations across the besieged enclave. The deadly bombardment directly targeted a community kitchen and aid distribution center in the central city of Deir al-Balah on Monday. According to an official international report by Al Jazeera, three of the confirmed fatalities were humanitarian aid workers actively distributing food to displaced civilians.

Hamas condemned the targeted attack, labeling the incident a deliberate war crime against civilians.

The strike comes amid a protracted military offensive that has systematically dismantled the strip‍‍`s basic infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced that its ground and air forces now maintain operational control over approximately 60 percent of the Gaza territory. Commenting on the Deir al-Balah incident, military spokespersons stated that the command is currently reviewing the tactical metrics of the strike, noting that the specific event remains under official investigation. This deployment follows separate military actions on Sunday that resulted in the deaths of three other Palestinian citizens.

Data released by the Gaza Health Ministry confirms that the total death toll has surpassed 72,000 since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, 2023. The compounding losses have intensified international pressure on logistic corridors, where humanitarian missions face unprecedented operational hazards. The loss of specialized personnel inside distribution centers severely threatens the ongoing survival metrics of thousands of families trapped within the active conflict zones.
