Israeli Air Attacks Kill At Least Seven Palestinians in Gaza

Israeli air attacks have killed at least seven Palestinians in Gaza, Palestinian health authorities reported on Tuesday. These strikes occurred during the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, violating the existing ceasefire agreement. At least five people died in a drone attack.

The strike targeted the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to civil defense and hospital officials. Medical teams at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital confirmed the death toll, noting that several others were wounded during the incident.Israel has yet to comment on the operation.

Local media reports suggest the attack focused on Palestinians who were confronting an alleged Israeli-backed armed group in the eastern part of the camp. Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reported from Gaza City that the armed group reportedly managed to withdraw safely after the strike. Israel subsequently launched additional airstrikes, including one that hit a family home. Two more fatalities were recorded in southern Gaza.

In Khan Younis, an attack on a vehicle resulted in two deaths and multiple injuries. According to medical staff on the scene, these victims were transported to nearby facilities for treatment. Since the US- and Qatar-brokered ceasefire began last October, more than 900 Palestinians have been killed in various incidents.
