An Israeli air strike on a vehicle in Gaza City killed one person and wounded several others on Tuesday, emergency services said. The attack hit the Tuffah neighbourhood in the northeastern part of the city.
,In central Gaza, four-year-old Osama Ahmed Abed died from wounds sustained in an Israeli attack three weeks ago in az-Zawayda, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. His death raised the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, to more than 74,382.
,Gaza Civil Defence expressed concern over repeated forced displacement near the Yellow Line, the boundary established under the October 2025 ceasefire. The agency reported massive explosions and indiscriminate gunfire that damaged hundreds of tents belonging to displaced people and weakened previously hit homes, while appealing for urgent intervention to halt the war.
,The Yellow Line, set under a 20-point plan promoted by US President Donald Trump, marked the initial withdrawal point for Israeli troops. Maps show nearly two-thirds of Gaza is currently under Israeli military control or access restrictions, with forces having seized additional territory instead of making further withdrawals.
,The US-backed Board of Peace marked the anniversary of the ceasefire with a post stating that Trump leadership ended a war with no end in sight. More than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the truce began, and more than 80 percent of Gaza buildings have been destroyed or damaged. No Palestinian technocratic administration is in place.
,In the occupied West Bank, Israeli attacks in Ramallah and el-Bireh wounded a child with live ammunition and caused several cases of tear gas suffocation, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said. Wafa reported that Palestine TV correspondent Khaled Mattawa was wounded in the hand by a sound bomb, and Sky News Arabia correspondent Firas Lutfi was hit in the leg by shrapnel.
,Israeli forces also raided the courtyard of the Palestine Medical Complex and the offices of several Palestinian non-governmental organisations. Human rights lawyer Muhammad Dahleh stated that Israel uses laws and military orders to shut down Palestinian rights groups by designating them terrorist organisations based on privileged evidence withheld from the groups and their lawyers.
,Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video on X that Israel was preparing for a scenario in which Palestinian Authority forces turn their guns against Israel in the West Bank. He stated that no Arab army would exist west of the Jordan River and that Israel would extend its control across the territory.
