Two Palestinian civilians lost their lives on Tuesday when an Israeli strike hit the Gaza Strip. Local sources identified the victims as Akram Yassin and his wife, Dina Yassin.
Separately on Tuesday, Israeli artillery units shelled multiple areas east of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Medical and rescue personnel reported no immediate casualties from the shelling.
These military actions occurred against continuous violations of a ceasefire agreement that has officially been in effect since October 2025.
A day earlier on Monday, separate Israeli attacks across the coastal enclave left one Palestinian dead and three others wounded, medical sources stated.
An Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in western Gaza City. That attack killed one man and wounded two other individuals.
In another incident on Monday, Israeli forces opened fire toward tents sheltering displaced people southwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. One Palestinian sustained injuries in that shooting.
Figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry show that ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have killed 1,522 Palestinians. The same figures show that 5,421 other people have sustained injuries during these violations.
Broader casualties since the onset of the Israeli military offensive in October 2023 have now surpassed 74,000 deaths among Palestinians, alongside more than 175,000 injuries. The offensive has also caused widespread destruction affecting approximately 90% of civilian infrastructure across the territory.
