Israeli Forces Arrest 13 More Palestinians During West Bank Raids

Israeli military forces detained thirteen Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The Prisoners’ Media Office and local sources reported the arrests included three brothers and a paramedic and anti-settlement activist named Bashar al-Qaryouti.

In Hebron, the military continued raids and closures for the seventh consecutive day on Tuesday. Soldiers shut iron gates around the Old City and seized Palestinian homes in the Jalda and Ain Deir Baha neighbourhoods to use them as military barracks.

The Hebron Municipality announced on Tuesday that the ongoing military operation had displaced nearly 5,000 Palestinians, accounting for 780 families.

The current offensive started on Friday after an attack by two Palestinians left two Israeli soldiers dead and three others wounded. The army subsequently killed the two Palestinian attackers.

Between Friday and Wednesday, Israeli forces detained 110 Palestinians across the territory. Figures released by the Palestinian Prisoner Society confirmed this.

In Salfit, Israeli forces demolished two Palestinian homes and bulldozed land in the town of Deir Ballut. Municipal official Jihad Yassin reported the action.

Yassin stated that the military also destroyed water lines under the pretext of construction without a permit. He estimated that around 100 demolition notices have been issued in the town.

These incidents form part of intensified Israeli army raids and attacks by occupiers against Palestinians throughout the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the beginning of the offensive in Gaza in October 2023.
