The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, Ismail Qaani, has issued a stark warning regarding the consequences of Israel`s ongoing military campaigns in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. In an official message released on Wednesday, Qaani asserted that the operations, heavily backed by what he described as shameless United States support, would only strengthen the resolve of the Axis of Resistance. The commander indicated that this strategic alignment would trigger a severe escalation across multiple regional maritime corridors. The security situation in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait will soon mirror the volatile conditions of the Strait of Hormuz.
Qaani emphasized that the synchronized military activities in southern Lebanon and Gaza would expand beyond their current boundaries, forcing the activation of secondary operational fronts. By altering the naval transit protocols within the Bab al-Mandeb Strait to match the highly restricted environment of the Strait of Hormuz, the resistance forces could severely disrupt international maritime trade. Geopolitical experts note that restricting this critical bottleneck in the Red Sea threatens to induce massive shocks to global energy corridors and supply chains.
The high-ranking Iranian official further warned the Israeli administration that its current actions would trap its forces within a strategic vortex. He stated that the continuous escalation would submerge the state into an intense wave of Hezbollah counter-offensives and a resurgent storm driven by Palestinian fighters. According to the Quds Force command, Washington’s comprehensive diplomatic and military backup will ultimately fail to insulate Tel Aviv from these mounting regional calculations.
