North Korea has officially integrated AI-powered technology into its tactical missile arsenal. According to reports from Reuters and the Associated Press, Pyongyang successfully conducted a series of tests on Tuesday under the direct supervision of leader Kim Jong Un.The drills demonstrated advanced technological precision.
The tests verified the performance of new special mission warheads for ballistic missiles, the reliability of long-range multiple-launch rocket systems, and the accuracy of AI-guided strategic cruise missiles. Officials confirmed that these modernized weapon systems are scheduled for deployment at front-line units near the South Korean border.
Kim Jong Un stated that the automated systems have been optimized to meet the demands of modern warfare. These AI-driven cruise missiles are capable of hitting targets at a range of 100 kilometers with high navigational accuracy.
With Seoul located just within 100 kilometers of the border, analysts view this move as a significant shift in Pyongyang’s military strategy. The focus has moved toward developing a fully automated, conventional weapon infrastructure.
