Eid-ul-Adha First Congregation Held at Baitul Mukarram

The first congregation of Eid-ul-Adha was held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka today. The prayer service began promptly at 7:00 AM, drawing a large number of worshippers from across the capital.Thousands of people gathered at the mosque early this morning.

Hafez Maulana Mufti Md. Mizanur Rahman led the first congregation, with mosque muezzin Qari Ishaq serving as the muqabbir. Following the prayers, a special munajat was offered, seeking peace and prosperity for the nation and the global Muslim community. Prayers were also specifically held for those facing hardships in Palestine and other parts of the world.

The Islamic Foundation has scheduled five consecutive prayer services at the national mosque today. Subsequent prayers will be held at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and the final congregation is set for 10:45 AM. Specific imams and reserve prayer leaders have been appointed for each session to ensure orderly proceedings.
