Official figures released on October 22 by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 409 attacks on olive farmers, trees, land, and equipment across the occupied West Bank between October 1 and 21. The commission recorded 317 incidents involving Israeli settlers and 92 involving the Israeli army.
The documented violations involved preventing farmers from reaching their fields, forcing them off their land, stealing crops, and vandalising trees and farming equipment. Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem have experienced a sharp rise in military raids, settler violence, arrests, home demolitions, and land displacement since October 2023.
