The Duchess of Sussex has released a previously unseen photo of herself and Prince Harry wearing matching penguin onesies. Meghan shared the image on her Instagram Stories to mark the couple`s eighth wedding anniversary. The picture originally comes from their engagement party.
Harry had the photo printed and folded into an anniversary card.
Meghan also uploaded a video of the Duke walking into their kitchen. He was carrying their original wedding flavor—a lemon-elderflower cake—decorated with lit candles. Harry sang a happy anniversary song alongside their children, who remained off-camera. Princess Lilibet could be heard urging her parents to blow out the candles.
The Duchess was then shown unwrapping a sculpted penguin gift from her husband. A small card attached to it was addressed to "the one and only."
Meghan laughed as she explained the outfits to her children.
She noted that everyone was asked to wear an animal onesie to their engagement party. They chose penguins specifically because the birds stay together for life.
Earlier that day, the Duchess shared 24 other unseen pictures from their wedding on May 19, 2018. The newly released set includes shots of the couple dancing at their Frogmore House reception and a performance by Sir Elton John.
