Jamaat Secretary General Visits Ailing BNP Leader in Malaysia

The Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament, Miah Golam Porwar, has visited ailing Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas at an international medical facility in Malaysia. Porwar presented himself at the Prince Court Hospital in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday morning to personally inquire about the health status of the senior politician. The visiting delegation received an extensive update from the attending medical panel regarding the latest execution of the treatment process.

The high-profile courtesy visit was conducted alongside Member of Parliament Barrister Najibur রহমান Momen.

Party administrators verified that Mirza Abbas was officially transferred to the premium Malaysian clinical center from Singapore on April thirteen to undergo advanced therapeutic oversight. Prior to the Secretary General‍‍`s arrival, Member of Parliament Masud Sayedee, the son of the late Allama Delwar Hossain Sayedee, had also accessed the facility to express solidarity with the veteran lawmaker. Sayedee confirmed via statements that Abbas‍‍`s physiological condition has stabilized significantly under intense institutional monitoring, noting close historical family relations between their households.

Political observers in Dacca view the cross-party interaction in Kuala Lumpur as an important manifestation of mutual respect and institutional etiquette amidst changing domestic dimensions. While the Secretary General’s regional travel itinerary centers on localized diaspora conventions, extending personal support to a hospitalized domestic peer underscores long-standing organizational bonds. Representatives from the side of Mirza Abbas communicated deep corporate appreciation toward the Jamaat leadership for their unexpected visit and spiritual well-wishings.
