An Israeli air attack near the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza killed at least one person and wounded two others on Sunday morning, according to Palestinian media reports.
The strike occurred near Salah al-Din Street, a major route through the territory, as reported by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa. Medical sources confirmed that the victims were immediately transferred for treatment following the bombardment.
This incident follows a separate aerial attack that targeted the al-Hasanat family in nearby Deir el-Balah, which resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries. Violence across the enclave has continued to displace families and strain local emergency services.
Gaza`s Ministry of Health reports that at least 1,286 Palestinians have been killed in various attacks across the territory since a ceasefire agreement took effect in October. Since hostilities escalated significantly in October 2023, the total death toll from military operations has surpassed 73,400 individuals.
