Israeli forces shot a Palestinian child during a military raid in the northern city of Qalqilya, according to Palestine TV. The broadcaster reported that the child was struck in the foot near the Kafr Saba neighbourhood.
The official Wafa news agency stated that troops detained two men during separate operations. One man was taken from his home in Hebron. The second arrest occurred in Taybeh, east of Ramallah, where soldiers also seized the man’s vehicle.
During the operation in Hebron, soldiers entered another family home and confined the residents to a single room while thoroughly ransacking the property.
In a separate incident in the Old City of Hebron, hundreds of Israeli settlers entered the area under military protection. Settlers forced local shopkeepers to close their businesses and attacked a Palestinian home on Al-Shuhada Street, smashing its windows.
Agricultural workers faced violence west of Jenin, where settlers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives. The attackers seized a tractor along with the harvested crop.
Another settler assault occurred in Kisan, east of Bethlehem. An individual assaulted a Palestinian resident and stole his personal belongings.
Wafa reported that armed confrontations broke out between Palestinians and Israeli troops during incursions into Dura al-Qara and Ni’lin in the Ramallah region.
In Tulkarem province, soldiers entered four separate towns, disrupted local traffic and discharged stun grenades. Authorities confirmed there were no injuries or arrests during those specific incursions.
Voice of Palestine radio documented further military operations spanning towns and villages across the Bethlehem, Nablus, Tubas, Jenin and Ramallah districts.
The West Bank, including East Jerusalem, has seen a sharp rise in military raids and settler violence since October 2023. These events have involved widespread killings, arrests, home demolitions, arson attacks, land bulldozing and the displacement of Palestinian communities.
