The Saudi National Center for Meteorology has issued official alerts regarding rising temperatures, dust storms, and potential thundershowers across various regions of the Kingdom. Significant concerns have been raised regarding the Mecca and Medina regions, where daytime temperatures are expected to spike considerably. Authorities have advised residents and travelers to exercise extreme caution and adhere to safety guidelines to avoid heat-related health risks.

According to the latest meteorological forecast, the areas of Mecca and Medina, along with Al-Jouf, the Northern Border region, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and parts of Najran, may experience strong winds carrying dust and sand. These conditions are expected to reduce visibility, potentially disrupting daily commutes and routine outdoor activities. Meteorological experts have urged citizens to monitor local weather updates closely as the atmospheric conditions continue to fluctuate.

In addition to the heat, instability is forecast for the southwestern parts of the country. Regions including Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, along with the mountainous areas south of Mecca, are likely to see thundershowers accompanied by active winds. Authorities have specifically warned residents in these areas to seek shelter during periods of lightning activity and to avoid low-lying regions that may be prone to sudden weather changes.

During periods of extreme heat, experts recommend limiting outdoor activities between the late morning and mid-afternoon hours. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and utilize protective measures, such as umbrellas, when necessity requires them to be outdoors. Health officials emphasize that the elderly and children are particularly vulnerable during such weather patterns and require extra care.

The Saudi meteorological authorities are maintaining continuous monitoring of the climate conditions and are providing regular updates to the public. Local administrations and emergency services have been placed on high alert to mitigate any potential risks arising from dust storms or heavy rains. Citizens and visitors alike are requested to follow all official instructions provided by the Saudi authorities to ensure safety and prevent any untoward incidents. These precautionary measures will remain in effect until further notice as the region manages these unstable weather condition
